History

Our all red brick home was built in 1921 by Dr. Smith of Baltimore. From 1923 until 1946 the Joannes Family resided in the home. Leland H. Joannes was among the Green Bay Packer "Hungry Five." With others he helped keep the Green Bay Packers franchise in operation during the early years. Joannes was the president of the Green Bay Packers for 17 years through the Great Depression, near bankruptcy and a stock sale. The home then was purchased by Ted and Josephine Lenfesty, another very well known and respected family and lived in the home until 1995. Dr. Steve and Amy Sehring became owners and did extensive renovations updating plumbing, electrical, kitchen, rebuilt stairs, … but still managed to keep the integrity of the home. We purchased the home in January of 2008 to open our bed and breakfast.
